About ice-breakers.online
ice-breakers.online is a growing collection of browser tools for starting a room off well: name pickers, timers and countdowns. They are made for workshop facilitators, event hosts and teachers who want a quick, friendly way to get everyone involved.
Every tool runs in your browser on a laptop, tablet, phone or projector. There is nothing to install and no account to create. Type in some names, press start and let the game do the picking.
What you will find
- Running Race Countdown: A random winner race for classrooms, meetings and workshops.
- Hot Potato Timer: A hot potato game with a hidden random timer for classrooms and meetings.
- UFO Name Picker: A random name picker where a UFO beams up the winner, with optional icebreaker questions.
Why it exists
A good session often starts with a moment of play. These tools aim to make that moment easy: quick to set up, easy to read from the back of a room, and fair when you need to choose someone.
